On the first day of the two-day jubilee program dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the University of "Syrdariya", a gala concert was held at the palace of students of Kazakhstan.

Today, university students met with a university graduate, TV presenter of the program "Jean Zhyluy" of the National TV Channel Kazakhstan Akbayan Saparbaykyzy. At the same time, a meeting was held with the TV journalist, actress, the host of the National Channel "Choosing Together" Nurbigul Sagyndykkyzy, which today is also the presenter of the program "Talk with Nurbigul" on the Kazakhstan-Oral TV channel.

October 11 is a great holiday for students admitted to the 1st course. The peculiarity of this traditional and annually held event is the active participation of students enrolled in the current academic year.

The festive atmosphere of the gala evening was opened with the words of congratulations of the vice-rector for the educational process and the deans of the faculties, they all congratulated the students on this event and wished them success.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, on October 5 in Akorda sent an annual message to the people of Kazakhstan.
Teaching staff and students of the University of Syrdariya listened to the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Growth of welfare of Kazakhstan: improving the quality of life and income."
The second Message for the year was devoted to topical issues of the country's socio-economic development and the further development of the welfare of Kazakhstan.

Every year, according to tradition, the celebration of Teacher's Day is held in our university. On the initiative of the Faculty of "Natural Science and Mathematics" a festive evening was held "Thank you very much, Teacher." Rector of the University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Dayirbekov S.S. congratulated teachers on this significant holiday.

According to the rating of the independent agency for quality assurance in education, the University "Syrdariya" took the 20th place in the ranking of the best multidisciplinary higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan in 2018.

On the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of "Syrdariya" and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the National Treasure Research Institute of the National Museum, Doctor PhD Syrym Yesenov, from September 3 to 21 of this year, gave lecture lectures on history.

During the studies, the scientist, along with the importance of questions about museology and archiving, gave comprehensive recommendations to future professionals, urged young people to be knowledgeable, to love their homeland, their country and land.
