About us
The Department of Physical Culture and Sports was founded in 1998 and is one of the first departments of the Syrdarіya University. It trains specialists in physical culture and sports. Our graduates are professional teachers, coaches and instructors in various sports, working in various private and public institutions.
We attach great importance to the research work of students. The department "Physical culture and sport" is equipped with specially prepared classrooms "Theory and methods of physical culture and sports", "Spartakiadа", "Olympic education" and sports complexes. The department has a special student club "Professional Sportsman". Our students actively participate in Kazakhstan, international and university research conferences.
Thanks to the professionalism of the teaching staff, the students of the department receive a high level of theoretical and practical knowledge and are able to make competent decisions in today's changing socio-economic environment.

The staff of the department "Physical culture and sport" consists of 15 people - 1 doctor of science, professor, 7 candidates of science, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 2 honored trainers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 7 masters of science, senior teachers. The teachers of the department, based on their practical knowledge, actively carry out educational and methodological work, using innovative teaching methods. In addition, it is customary to publish the results of their research in foreign scientific journals and domestic publications.
