Short-term vocational training is a modern requirement

Short-term vocational training courses were held at "Syrdariya" University within the framework of the "Enbek" state program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship for 2017–2021, certificates were awarded to participants.
On September 9, 2016, President Nursultan Nazarbayev took additional measures to develop the labor market and improve the standard of living of the population, the Government was tasked with stimulating mass entrepreneurship and employment. Everyone knows that to solve these problems, the "Enbek" state program was developed to develop productive employment and mass entrepreneurship for 2017–2021.

"Syrdariуa" University for the first time took part in the program with the goal of implementing this program, its goals, social support and attracting them to entrepreneurship. There are enough opportunities and the material and technical base of our university, the professional potential of the teaching staff.

Today "Syrdariуa" University is expanding its branches, leaving behind 20 years of educational experience. In particular, last year the department of undergraduate, graduate, pre-university training, as well as Zhetysaysky diversified college of technical and vocational education were opened. In a short period of time, the university has become one of the leading universities in the country, having entered the differentiated stage of study.
Despite the remoteness of the university, he achieved a lot in the fields of education, science, sports and art.
Last year, the university took 20th place in the national ranking of universities, this year it was not easy to take 16th place. This is evidence of the quality of education and the formation of the material and technical base and teaching staff.
Now it is our university’s turn to attract the unemployed to this profession with the help of short-term vocational training courses, to certify them for a long life as a working specialist and start a career.
The first step of this initiative began with the registration of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, which showed that the university base meets all the requirements of the Chamber. Today, there are many entrepreneurs who benefit from the work of the Chamber. Since the creation of the Atameken Scientific and Educational Center, the rights of entrepreneurs have been protected and they are free to work. The University and the Zhetysaі regional research center Atameken have established close cooperation and together solve many problems.
Therefore, by the decision of the Human Development Department and the Turkestan Regional Commission, "Syrdariуa" University decided that it has the full opportunity to conduct short-term vocational training, and allocated 80 places for 4 qualifications.
It is known that our participation in this program is determined by a certain level of needs. All the specialties that we train are selected in accordance with the requirements of the Zhetysaysky district employment center, which are necessary in our area.
In particular, students specializing in care, cooking, sewing, growing fruits and vegetables, were trained for 3 months and received the above qualifications. Each of them is a necessary specialist for our area.
While the number of nurses is growing in many kindergartens in the district, the number of chefs is also growing in restaurants, canteens, kindergartens, schools, etc. And the university has a great opportunity to train seamstresses. Our university has design teachers who have many years of experience. Sewing is an indispensable profession today. In the last 3-4 years, there is a great need for producers of fruits and vegetables. Zhetysaі and Makhtaral districts pay more attention to growing these fruits and vegetables, as well as growing cotton for several years.
It is worth noting special attention to the diligence and responsibility of the Zhetysaі district employment center and its responsible specialists, who effectively organized the residents of the district who applied for training in these specialties and sent them to study. Systematic work was carried out for 3 months in order to coordinate the training course, its regularity, and control student attendance.

"Enbek" graduates will have the opportunity to start a business in the future, receiving effective assistance from the state. In his message to the people of Kazakhstan, President Tokayev said: “I instruct the government to develop a legislative framework for exempting micro and small business companies from income tax for three years. and actions that impede the development of medium-sized businesses should be recognized as a crime against the state, ”he said. We hope that students who studied and qualified at the university will open their own business in the future and will contribute to the growth of the political and economic potential of our country.

"Syrdariуa" University has once again proved its readiness to implement measures to develop productive employment and mass entrepreneurship, any good initiatives and programs of the country. Our university has enough spiritual and material potential for this.
