On 01/23/2025, an open lesson was held on the topic "Prevention of drug addiction". The main goal of the event was to provide students with comprehensive information about the harm of drugs, explain their negative impact on their lives, and encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle.

On January 21, 2025, at the Department of Preschool Education and Teaching, PhD, Associate Professor (acting) Aliya Kurbanovna Oralbekova conducted an open class with the master's students of the group MPiK 24-7k in the discipline "Psychology of Higher Education" on the topic "Modern Practical Approaches and Concepts of the Nature of Students' Psychology." During the class, modern methods and theoretical concepts of studying students' psychology were discussed, as well as new research and practical methods in this field.

On January 10, 2025, a conference dedicated to the industrial and pre-graduation internship of graduates in the "Law" program was held.

In order to prepare for the passage of specialized accreditation of educational programs, on January 10, 2024, the Department of methodological support for educational programs held a training seminar on the topic «Preparation of a report on the results of self-assessment of an educational program according to the relevant criteria of specialized international accreditation standards».

On January 10, 2024, a seminar titled "Education in the Digital Era: Media Literacy and Innovative Methods for Sustainable Development" was held at Zhumabek Tashenov University. The event was organized as part of the project "Methodology for Integrating Language and Media Education to Develop Media Literacy Among Kazakhstani Youth as a Key Factor in Their Socialization and Intercultural Interaction." Faculty members from the Departments of English, Russian, and Uzbek Languages, and Information and Communication Technologies participated in the seminar.

On December 24, 2024, at the University named after Zhumabek Tashenev, a guest online lecture was held by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages N1 of the Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov-Fominykh Natalia Yuryevna, for students of the master's and bachelor's degree programs of the educational program: "Foreign language: two foreign languages".
The guest lecture of Professor N.B.Fominykh was devoted to the current topic: "Using neural networks in teaching foreign languages".
 

On December 23, 2024, a scientific and methodological seminar "On submitting applications for the funding competition" was held at the University of Zhumabek Akhmetovich Tashenev. The seminar was led by the Director of the Department of Academic Work Aliya Kurbanovna Oralbekova. In addition, at the seminar, young scientists were explained how to apply for participation in the competition for grant funding for 2025-2027 in scientific areas.
The seminar was attended by deans of faculties, heads of departments, young scientists and graduate students.
 

On December 13, 2024, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Anar Shaimakhanovna Dosbenbetova organized a round table of the women's club "Tomiris", which reviewed the report of the club's events held during the year. At this event, the club members not only summed up the results of their annual work, but also accepted first-year students as members of the club.
