Today, the stage of defending dissertations for master's degree programs has officially started at Tashenev University. This is an important result of many years of work, scientific research and professional development for master's degree students.
When organizing the defense process, the university attaches special importance to academic honesty, openness and quality. All classrooms are equipped with a video surveillance system, and the defense procedures are carried out in accordance with high academic standards.

ARUZHAN BEYSEEVA REPRESENTS TASHENOV UNIVERSITY AT THE ASTANA INTERNATIONAL FORUM
Our student, winner of the republican sports competitions, Beiseyeva Aruzhan, is taking part in the Astana International Forum, one of the largest dialogue platforms in Eurasia, where key issues of the global economy, security and sustainable development are discussed today.

4th year students of the Department of "Russian and Uzbek Languages" OP "6V01702 - Training teachers of the Russian language and literature" have successfully completed their pre-diploma pedagogical practice!
- The practice took place on the basis of schools and lyceums of the city of Shymkent and the Turkestan region.
- Future teachers held open lessons, class hours, took part in methodological associations.

An important stage is underway at Tashenev University — the defense of graduates’ theses. Today, it is the turn of the English Department. Students successfully present their research projects to the certification committee.
All defenses are held on schedule, in accordance with academic standards and with special attention to the principles of transparency and objectivity. The committees include experienced teachers, representatives of employers and the professional community. The work of the committees is organized as honestly and impartially as possible.

From April 21 to 22, 2025, the external expert group of the Non-profit Institution “Independent Kazakhstani Center of Accreditation” conducted an evaluation of 20 educational programs at Jumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University to assess their compliance with international accreditation standards.
As a result, on May 16, 2025, at a meeting of the Accreditation Council (Protocol No. 55 dated 05/16/2025), educational programs were recognized as meeting specialized accreditation standards and accredited for a period of 5 years. Congratulations!
 

The members of the “English Language” Department of Zh. A. Tashenev University visited Turkestan Region, the city of Turkestan, where they met with high school graduates and conducted career guidance activities.
As part of the event, students received detailed information about the university’s educational programs, the advantages and opportunities of studying there, student life, and prospects for graduates.

On 13.05.25, a meeting was held on career guidance work between the Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work of the University Zh.A. Tasheneva G.Sh. Bitursyn together with the Dean of the Faculty of “Economics and Law” A.E. Nauryzbekov and the directors of schools in the Saryagash district.

The 17th Republican Subject Olympiad among University Students in the Educational Program 6B01450 – Vocational Training Was Held
On May 5 of this year, within the framework of events approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Vocational Education of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Art at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University held the 17th Republican Subject Olympiad among university students in the educational program 6B01450 – Vocational Training.

We are proud to announce that Ermetova Madina Bakhadirkyzy,  a 1st-year student of group Fi-24-9k1, studying in the 6B01707 – Foreign Languages (IP) educational program at the Department of English Language, Faculty of IT and Foreign Languages,  has been awarded the prestigious title of  “Best Student of Central Asia”.

This recognition was granted as part of the national competition organized by the  "BILIM – ÓRKENIETI" National Innovative Scientific-Research Center and the  “NEW KAZAKHSTAN” Republican Innovation Center.
