SKSU named after M. Auezov together with the University "Syrdarіya" developed a technology to protect fabrics from viruses.

In SKSU named after M. Auezov together with the University "Syrdarіya" for several years under the guidance of Professor Malik Satayev conducted research on the installation of bactericidal coatings on fabrics and other dielectric materials. The peculiarity of the proposed methods is the use of photochemical processes caused by sunlight.

Cases of mass coronavirus infection by health workers indicate that traditional medical clothing does not provide the necessary protection. This may be due to the fact that the virus is stored for a long time on the surface of protective clothing.
Recently, scientific journals and the media have published scientific evidence that the lifespan of the virus is significantly reduced or completely disappears on copper or silver-containing surfaces.

In SKSU named after M. Auezov together with the "Syrdarіya" University for several years under the guidance of Professor M. Satayev conducted research on the installation of bactericidal coatings on fabrics and other dielectric materials.
Tests conducted in certified laboratories in Shymkent and Zhetysai showed antibacterial properties of coatings on dielectric materials.

Technologies for placing copper, silver and gold casings on cotton fabrics have been developed. The technology is simple and does not require special equipment, so they can be used in both ordinary medical institutions and small and medium-sized businesses.

As a result of this work, one doctoral (PhD) and five master's theses were defended, more than a dozen articles were published in journals indexed by SCOPUS or included in the WoS system.
