Ayashev Onalbay Ayashevich was awarded the title of academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan

AYASHEV ONALBAY

         In accordance with the Charter of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the decision of the Presidium, on June 26, 2020, at a meeting of the General Meeting of the NAS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regular elections of corresponding members and full members (academicians) were held. Following the election, Ayashev Onalbay received the title of academician.

         Ayashev Onalbay Ayashevich was born in 1950 in the Saryagash district of the South Kazakhstan region. In 1967 he graduated with honors from the Kaplanbek College, in 1971 - with honors from the Shymkent Pedagogical Institute. Since 1971, he worked at the Shymkent Pedagogical Institute as a teacher, senior teacher, department head, dean, vice-rector.

In 1983 he graduated from graduate school in Moscow and defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences, in 1991 he graduated from Moscow Pedagogical Institute named after V.I.Lenin defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Formation of professional skills of future teachers."

         From 1992 to 1996 Ayashev Onalbay worked as vice-rector for educational work, then first deputy vice-president of the Shymkent Pedagogical Institute, which then became the Shymkent branch of MKTU im. K.A. Yassaui, after which he became director of the Pedagogical Institute. M.O. Auezov.

         From 1996 to 2000, he was director of the Zhetysay branch of MKTU im. K.A. Yassaui, rector of the non-state higher college “Syrdariуa”. From 2000 to 2004, he served as president of «Syrdariуa» University.

         From 2004 to 2007, he was a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, secretary of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He worked as Deputy General Director of the Joint Fund "SK Astana" National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".

         As a result of the painstaking work of O. Ayashev in 2011, the Shymkent Pedagogical Institute was restored by the 70th anniversary and the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical Institute was created. He was the rector of the institute from 2011 to 2019. During these years, he transferred the institute to the university and opened several specialties and departments of magistracy and doctoral studies.

         He prepared many candidates of sciences and doctors of sciences. The author of 110 scientific articles, including monographs and textbooks. He is the author of «The President’s Note» (2008), «Elbasy» (2010), «Independence» (2011), and «Elbasy, Beloved of the South» (2011).

         O. Ayashev is an active member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, a member of the Eurasian Economic Academy, a permanent teacher at the Royal College of London University and Moscow State Pedagogical University, as well as an “Honorary Professor” of the Academy of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan. He led the OSCE Commission on Sustainable Education for Asia. Honored Education Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Education Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. O. Ayashev is the holder of the Kurmet order, in addition, he has a Letter of Appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, medals “For the best work in the field of education”, “Honorary Worker of Education”, “10 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “10 years of the Constitution of the Republic Kazakhstan, 10 Years of Parliament, 20 Years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 20 Years of Maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 20 Years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, 25 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

         O.Ayashev, holder of the title "Best Scientist" of the South Kazakhstan Region in 2003, "Honorary Citizen" of the Maktaaral District, USSR master of sports in classical wrestling, Honored Worker of Sports of Kazakhstan.
