Zhantasova Zilikha Turarkyzy

Zhantasova Zilikha Turarkyzy was born on March 28, 1973 in the village of Ashchysay in the city of Kentau, South Kazakhstan region.
In 1991, she graduated from secondary school in the village of Kyzylzhar, Ordabasy district, with a silver medal.
In 1992-1996 she studied at the Faculty of Philology of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A. Yasawi in the city of Turkestan and graduated with honors.
- On May 31, 2007, she defended her thesis on the topic “The Influence of the Eastern Literary Tradition in the Kazakh Epic” and received the academic degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences.
- In 2010, by the decision of the control commission in the field of education and science of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the specialty of literary criticism.

- In 2004, she published a collection of short stories called “Missing.”
- In 2011, the Ordabasy publishing house published a collection of prose works entitled “The Summer Life of My Soul.”

- Author of 3 textbooks, more than 50 scientific articles. She is the author of 4 books of prose, songs published in several collections.
- In 2023, she published the book “Tower of Mercy.”
- In 2023, the book “Dance of Fate” was translated into Kyrgyz and published.
- In 2010, she was awarded a regional akim scholarship for fiction and scientific research.
- For his special contribution to the development of culture and art in the region, he was recognized as the winner of the “Best Writer of 2012” nomination.

- She began her career in 2000 as a teacher at the Shymkent branch of the Kainar Interregional University. In 2006, she worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Philology at the International Humanitarian and Technical University.
- In 2009, she worked at the Department of Kazakh Literature of the Faculty of Philology of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov.
- In 2014, she worked as an assistant professor at the Abaitanu Scientific Center of this university.
- In 2015, she held the position of editor-in-chief of the public newspaper “Kyzmet”.
- In 2016-2019, she worked as a scientific secretary at the Otyrar Regional Scientific Universal Library. She was the organizer and presenter of many literary events.
