On the occasion of the 175th birthday of Alshekey Bektibayuly, the presentation of the audio version of the book "Alshekey Kuyshi" and his poems was held at Zhumabek Tashenev University. Ayakoz Nursultan, a performer of Alshekei tunes, winner of the "Shabyt" youth creative competition, winner of the republican Dina Nurpeyisova music competition, performed Alshekei tunes and gave spiritual food to the students. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Akhmet Baitursynuly, the great teacher of our nation, the founder of literary sciences, the spiritual leader of Alash. In this regard, the 4th year students of the Kazakh language and literature education program of our educational institution organized an event on the theme "Teacher of the Nation - Akhmet". At the celebration, the life and creativity of Akhmet Baitursynuly, his fate full of courage, and his pure intention for the Kazakh nation were told.

On August 24, the FORUM "SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION - 2022" started, within the framework of the theme "Human CAPITAL - the main resource for the development of new Kazakhstan".
Among other things, the FORESIGHT session was attended by heads of universities and scientific organizations, representatives of the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the rector of our university named after Zhumabek Tashenev Baibolov Kanat Seitzhanovich.

On August 15, a forum was held in Turkestan on the occasion of the start of the Central Asian Volunteer Forum.
200 people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan participated in the forum. On this occasion, on behalf of Zhumabek Tashenov University, the most active participants were presented with image gifts of our educational institution.

On August 17, our school hosted a dialogue forum called "BIR TOLQYNDA".
The youth of our university presented their proposals and asked the questions that were on their minds to Gennadiy Gennadievich Shipovskikh, a member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who participated in the open dialogue.

Syrdariya University changed to Zhumabek Tashenov University and moved to Shymkent. Scientific works will be revived in the building of the educational institution in Zhetysai. In the future, it is planned to build a university building on an area of 15 hectares in the third metropolis. Kanat Baibolov, the rector of the university, announced this.
