The university continues events dedicated to the 108th anniversary of the birth of Zhumabek Tashenev. The Department of Philology organized an essay competition among students of 1-4 courses on the topic “The worker Zh.A. Tashenov is a man standing at the pinnacle of the destiny of the nation.” According to the results of the competition, students of the faculty Asembekova Asem took 1st place, Kanat Aruna - second place, Erimbetova Aida - 3rd place.
After that, the teacher Sholpan Serikbayeva organized an intellectual game on the theme "Zhumabek Akhmetovich Tashenev in memory of the younger generation." Here, university students expanded their knowledge and horizons about public figures and answered various questions. During the event, our student Valikhan Meirzhan read his poems and received an award.
At a large-scale event held in the library, the ceremony of presenting the monograph “M. Auezov - Researcher of the History of Kazakh Literature" by Senior Lecturer Rano Arynbayeva. The head of the department Zhanna Botabaeva noted that this work is the result of many years of research by the researcher.
