DEFENSE OF THESIS CONTINUES

An important stage is underway at Tashenev University — the defense of graduates’ theses. Today, it is the turn of the English Department. Students successfully present their research projects to the certification committee.
All defenses are held on schedule, in accordance with academic standards and with special attention to the principles of transparency and objectivity. The committees include experienced teachers, representatives of employers and the professional community. The work of the committees is organized as honestly and impartially as possible.
The university administration is actively working to prevent violations of academic ethics, including preventing illegal “feasts” for committee members.
Such actions are contrary to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the internal rules of the university. All classrooms where defenses are held are equipped with video surveillance, and control measures have been strengthened.
