Baglan Zhumanov, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Technology and Design with a degree in Art and Drawing Teacher Training, is one of the prides of the university.
Baghlan, a master of drawing, recently painted a portrait of Zhumabek Tashenev, after whom our educational institution bears. Baghlan, who expresses his creativity not with paints, but with a pen, has many other works of art. He is mainly interested in drawing movie characters, he is fond of the fantasy genre. “While watching the film, it becomes more and more interesting for me to draw images about it.
Baghlan Muratuly, who was fond of drawing since childhood, probably inherited this trait from his father. The younger brothers are also inclined to this art. Painting and drawing are two different worlds. One needs math, the other needs creativity. Baghlan has both. Sometimes he takes orders from medical students and draws their drawings. Teachers don't pick on drawing. While still at school, he won first place at the Olympiad in Zhetysay, where 40 schoolchildren participated. He painted the picture while sitting on the shore of the lake. In addition, last fall, he took 1st place in the international online creative competition for children and adults called "AUTUMN FEST-2022". Baghlan, who is trying his hand at visual arts under the guidance of Uldanai Saparbayeva, a lecturer at the department, recently submitted his work to another competition. We are confident that Baghlan's work will be revealed and spread thanks to Tashenev University.
