TASHENEV UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ARE STUDYING AT BRITISH MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY AS PART OF A STRATEGIC ACADEMIC EXCHANGE
From 14 to 26 April 2025, 21 students and 3 lecturers from Tashenev University are studying as part of an international academic programme at British Management University (BMU).
This training was made possible by a long-term strategic partnership between our universities, within which academic exchanges, joint educational initiatives and research projects are regularly implemented. Such cooperation is a confident step towards international integration and improving the quality of education.
The academic program that our students complete includes key disciplines that shape modern competencies:
Introduction to Information Technology
— Students become familiar with the basics of IT infrastructure, digital tools, cybersecurity, programming fundamentals, and data processing principles. This course helps them understand how technology shapes modern business and management decisions.
Introduction to Business for Management
— A core discipline that covers understanding the business environment, the role of a manager, decision-making processes, and the basics of marketing and finance. It is taught with an emphasis on real-life cases and practical thinking.
Global Issues
— The course covers key global challenges: sustainable development, climate change, international security, economic inequality, and cultural diversity. Students learn to analyze and critically comprehend world events, developing global thinking.
International Academic English
— Intensive language training, including academic writing, public speaking, business communication and international correspondence skills. Attention is paid to terminology in the areas of management and business.
Students also actively participate in the extracurricular program:
• Chess tournament
• Intellectual game "Zakovat"
• Volleyball matches
• Excursions to Tashkent City Mall, Magic City, Old Town and the UzAuto Motors plant
