The Syrdariya University organized an advanced training course "Digital Literacy"

On November 16, 2020, on the initiative of the university teachers, the first stream of the Digital Literacy course was launched. The course is aimed at the faculty of the university and consists of 20 hours of study. 

Teachers from two departments are invited to the first stream of training:

"Pedagogy and Psychology" and "Educational Technologies".

The objectives of the training course are:
1. To provide students with practical skills of working on a modern personal computer ("confident user" level).
2. To increase the efficiency of teachers' work, which will definitely affect the quality of educational activities.

Completing the course will provide not only the necessary "computer literacy", but also allow more effective use of modern information technologies in the educational process.

Teachers of the course will be given the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge, as well as to fill the gaps in the field of modern information technology. Upon completion of the training course, students are invited to undergo computer testing and receive a certificate.

The course program contains the entire basic complex of working with computer technology, digital equipment, as well as modern software, including for organizing work online.

It is planned to organize 6 streams of training, starting from November 16, 2020 to February 12, 2021. In each stream, 2 groups are trained in parallel, one group before lunch, the second after lunch. The duration of each stream is 2 weeks, i.e. 20 hours. Each group of students is trained for 10 days, i.e. 2 working weeks.
The full training of the entire faculty will take 4 months.

If the teachers has knowledge of more than 85-90% of the recommended course, then he can immediately pass computer testing and receive a certificate.
