Tashenev University is hosting an international scientific and theoretical conference "Alisher Navoi and the 21st Century"
Zhumabek Tashenev University is the main co-organizer of the annual traditional scientific conference "Alisher Navoi and the 21st Century". This prestigious scientific event was organized at the initiative of the Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature and is dedicated this year to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the 110th anniversary of the public figure Zhumabek Tashenev.
Opening the conference, Parida Bayneeva, Acting Rector of Zhumabek Tashenev University, emphasized the importance of Alisher Navoi's legacy:
"The legacy of Alisher Navoi is an invaluable cultural treasure not only of Uzbek literature, but also of the entire Turkic world. His works spiritually inspire generations and strengthen cultural ties between peoples. Today's conference is a vivid example of the relevance of the ideas of the great poet in the 21st century. Our university is holding this event with great pride,” he said.
The conference was attended by scientists and Turkologists from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as researchers from India, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary and other countries. This indicates the high international status of the conference and the growing interest of scientists in the heritage of Alisher Navoi.
