A Turkish professor had a seminar
Mustafa Demirci, professor of Seljuk University, Konya, Republic of Turkey, held a seminar on "Islamic culture in the Middle Ages".
Doctoral students of our educational institution, students and teachers of history and geography education program participated in the seminar.
Students asked questions to the professor and an interesting debate was held on the current topic.
It should be noted that Tashenev University is holding lectures for students and teachers from experienced foreign professors for a month as part of academic mobility.

Students of the Faculty of Philology of the University named after Zh. Tashenev celebrated International Student Day in the dormitory.
Every day for young people with high dreams and clear goals should be full of exploration and fun.
Our students sang songs and congratulated each other on their special day. The dean's office presented "Letters of Gratitude" to scientists who distinguished themselves in their studies and are active in public life.

Career selection evening
November 17, 2023 Candidate of Legal Sciences, Senior Lecturer Z.Ch. Tultabaev, Z.A. Abdurakhmanova and the master of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies - Saduakas A., took part in a profession choice evening called “Choice - the beginning of the path” at the school named after Saken Seifullin. Our teachers conducted career guidance work for school graduates. All higher educational institutions of Shymkent took part in the event; the event helped students in grades 9-11 make the right choice in the direction of their future profession.

A round table was held on the topic “The Code of the Modern Business Woman: Position, Rights, Social Status and Opportunities.”
The purpose of the round table is to discuss current issues in the development of the gender movement, as well as prospects for implementing the provisions of the National Strategy of Action for Women for 2023-2030.
In the footsteps of history
A historical trip to the mausoleum of Kozha Akhmet Yasawi and the state archaeological museum “Otyrar” of the city of Turkestan was organized by the Department of History and Geography of Tashenev University as part of the discipline studied “Country Studies”.
Students expanded their historical knowledge and expanded their historical knowledge.
