Meeting with Theology Experts

On February 14, 2025, at 09:30, a roundtable was organized by the Department of "Economics and Management" at Tashenev University for first-year students of the educational programs "Accounting and Audit", "Economics", "Finance", and "IT Management" on the topic "Explaining the Concept of State Policy in the Field of Religion in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Preventing Religious Terrorism and Extremism." The event invited theologians from the Center for Religious Issues Research to conduct explanatory work.
During the roundtable, the theologians explained the main principles and goals of state policy in the field of religion in the Republic of Kazakhstan and discussed measures for preventing religious extremism and terrorism. The students were given recommendations on the role of religion in modern society and the importance of correct information about religion.
The main goal of the event was to increase religious literacy among students, to foster respect for public order, and to prevent illegal activities. During the roundtable, a question-and-answer session was held, where students received answers to their questions of interest.
