XVI - Republican Subject Olympiad

On April 12, 2024, the 16th Republican Subject Olympiad was held among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the educational program 6B03210 - “Library” at the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov. The “Tashenev book keepers” team, consisting of students of the educational program 6B03201 - “Library Science” of the Department of Languages and Literature of the Faculty of Philology of the Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University, took part and took third place. Faculty teachers were happy to note the students' successes.
If the achievement of civilization occurs through books, then the profession of a librarian enriches the spiritual world of a person. It is safe to say that the University named after Zh. A. Tashenev makes a great contribution to the training of librarians who preserve the spiritual culture and wealth of our people.
