On February 9, it has become a tradition in the world of Kazakh poetry to celebrate the birth of the great poet Mukagali Makatayev, who is marked in golden letters. This year's performance of the annual poetry event was special.

The literary and musical evening "Heart beats" organized by the Faculty of "Humanities", the Department of "Kazakh language and literature", the department of "Library" of the University was revived by students.

The great day dedicated to the giant of songs began in the morning. Dean of the Faculty, Library Department, staff and students of the department "Kazakh language and literature" read the works of Mukagali Makatayev in the main building of the university, sang songs written by the poet, made a biographical presentation. The literary and musical evening dedicated to the anniversary ended with the song "Think of me" performed by Zh. Bektas. Students who took an active part in the event, including A. Daniyar, M.
