Recently, the International Uzbek Language and Literature Olympiad was organized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature among foreign students of higher education institutions.
Foreign and Uzbek scholars who are specialists in Uzbek language and literature evaluated the knowledge of the participants who competed in two-stage tasks, such as writing an essay based on a picture and oral conversation. The students enthusiastically participated in the very competitive and interesting competition and achieved high results.
Mardona Makhsatova and Aigul Amanova, 4th-year students of the educational program "Foreign language: training of teachers of two foreign languages" of the Department of Philology of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Philology of our university won the 1st place, Zulaiho Sobirova took the 2nd place, and the team of Kazakhstan took the 3rd place. Their mentors are teacher Shahlo Naraliyeva.
