1998 year. Independence. Our country has not yet recovered, the population is not used to market relations. It was not easy for the youth of the Maktaaral region, located in the extreme south, on the border, to get higher education and become a specialist. The remoteness of the road from major cities and the lack of direct contact with the country created serious problems. Because at that time the bridge across the Syrdariya river had not yet been built. Moreover, the social status of the entire population could not afford it.
A conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the University
On the second day of the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the University "Syrdariya" an international scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of the national education system: priorities, development prospects" was held.
