Members of Parliament met with students

Members of the Senate and Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with employees and students of the University named after Zh. Tashenev and discussed the construction of the NPP.
The meeting was attended by members of the Senate - Nurtore Zhusip, Nurlan Beknazarov, Aigul Kapbarova and Majilis deputy Danabek Isabekov, chairman of the city maslikhat Bakhadyr Narymbetov, deputy of the city maslikhat Albina Elshieva, chairman of the board of JSC "University named after Zh. Tashenev" - Onalbay Ayashuli and rector of the university Baibolov Kanat Seitzhanuly.
The deputies spoke in detail about the need to build a NPP in the country and answered students' questions.

- Nuclear reactors operate in many countries around the world. To get rid of energy dependence in the future, our country also needs nuclear power plants. Research is being conducted in the field of nuclear energy today. About 1800 citizens are studying in this direction. The training of specialists has begun. That is why we must not be left behind. I invite all citizens of the country to take an active part in the national referendum, - with these words the meeting ended.
