On October 3, a festive event "Teacher is a great name" was held at the "Syrdariуa" University.
The event was attended by the founder of the "Syrdariya" University, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, deputy of the Maslikhat of the Turkestan region Onalbay Ayashev, akim of the Zhetysai region Turshekbek Elshibaev, first deputy chairman of the Zhetysai district branch of the Nur Otan party Adov Asylkhan .
The event was also attended by Zhappar Gappar, editor-in-chief of the Zhety cheese newspaper, Altynbek Tastanbekov, editor-in-chief of the Zhana Zhetysay newspaper, faculty and university students.
Vice-rector for academic and methodological work of the University Mamraimov Serik Dauletuly on behalf of the rector congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday and wished them success in the new academic year.
On the eve of the professional holiday, outstanding teachers who made a significant contribution to education and science, raising the younger generation and moral education were awarded the “Best Teacher” badges, letters of thanks, as well as diplomas and gifts.
University students organized a festive concert at a high level and gave a special mood to the audience.
