Handicrafts were offered

Students of the Faculty of Art and Design of the University named after Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev took part in the festival "Ethno Shymkent", held in the ethnic village "Shym Qala".
In order to increase the tourism potential of the city of Shymkent, the ethno-folkloric ensemble performed national songs, oriental and national dishes of local chefs were presented at the event. Together with the local artisans of the city, our university students also presented to the public their national handicrafts and souvenirs. Apart from that, the students of the department took part in the presentation of national clothes and put on a performance of their own decorative clothes.
