Model of inclusive education

From 06/03/2024 to 06/13/2024, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a 72-hour training course on the topic “Model of Inclusive Education” in the city of Turkestan. For this course, teachers from the Faculty of Primary Education and Arts of Tashenev University took part in the event.
During the training, current issues related to inclusive education were raised. The course was taught by Valia Kalaitsi, Ph.D., a research fellow at Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Giorgos Gkogkos, Ph.D. in Special Education. Very valuable topics in the inclusive education system were discussed, in particular, the basic prerequisites and principles of inclusiveness, eliminating barriers, ensuring equal rights, differentiated education, designing universal education, etc. University teachers and school teachers took part in the course. . Since this was a very important topic, heated debates, discussions, exchanges of opinions, and defense of various projects took place every day. We also learned topics that were new to us. On the day of the end of the course, employees of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan came to congratulate us and shared their thoughts in the field of inclusion. We successfully defended our projects and received certificates. It was very important for us to improve our skills in the very important area of inclusion, and our wish came true.
