Today it has become a good tradition for the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev to announce his Address to the people of Kazakhstan on this Education Day.
September 1 is a holiday of Education that unites the whole generation. This is the beginning of a new academic year and a new stage in the life of a young budding step into the world of education. Tashenev University staff listened to this year's Address of the Head of State, which came along with the Education Day, and expressed full support. In his message, the Head of State clearly focused on economic development, modernization of state administration, strengthening of industry, education and science, culture, and business.
President K.K. Tokayev said that all the projects and plans mentioned in today's Address regarding the development of the country's economy have been carefully studied and calculated, as well as, "We will develop our country and increase the welfare of the people by urgently fundamentally revising and changing the entire economic system. "The main goal of the reform is to bring the sustainable growth of our economy to 6-7 percent and double the size of the national economy by 2029, that is, to 450 billion dollars," he said. The President noted that this is a large-scale and complex task.
The priority of this message is the fair distribution of the country's wealth and income among citizens, the systematic spending of the National Fund, the radical change of the state planning system, the reduction of the total number of taxes and other mandatory payments to the budget by at least 20 percent, and the need to give district governors the right to manage the local budget. and the President instructed to raise the minimum wage to 85 thousand tenge. In addition, a number of issues were raised in the Message and various tasks were assigned to the Government.
All reforms and measures of requirements in the system of science and higher education will contribute not only to the availability of education, but also to increase the responsibility of participants in the educational process: students and parents, secondary educational institutions and universities.
In his address, the head of state defined the direction of future reforms, and now we must modernize our state and all spheres of society. In the future, the content of the reforms will be comprehensively expanded.
