This year is the 172nd anniversary of the poet Zhambyl. In honor of the anniversary of the poet "Homer of the XX century" the department "Library" celebrated a literary evening with the participation of students majoring in "Kazakh language and literature." Rector of the University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor SS Dairbekov, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor LU Abenova took part in the literary evening.

In the evening, dedicated to the steppe, young seekers read in public the noble poems and epics of the poet.
