A monument to Alisher Navai was solemnly opened in Astana

The event was attended by the presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, members of the official delegation, as well as the head of the academic mobility department of the University of Jumabek Tashenev, PhD doctor Shakhlo Naraliyeva.
In 2014, a monument to the great Kazakh poet and educator Abai was erected in Tashkent, and today the head of state said that the erection of a monument to the great poet, outstanding thinker Alisher Navai in the capital. This is, first of all, a sign of the special love of the Kazakh people for the Uzbek people.
- We are a fraternal country that has not been divided since time immemorial. There are many common values that unite our people. Our history and language are related, we have a common religion. There are traditions of fraternal ties between the two countries. At the same time, Alisher Navai occupies a special place. Mukhtar Auezov "Alisher Navai is not the only Uzbek literature. Bertin influenced the literature of many countries of Asia and the East," noted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
