On March 14, 2025, at 12:30, the Head of the Department of English, PhD Artıkbayeva F.I., conducted an open class on the topic “Have a nice day! Grammar: Reported Speech. Vocabulary: Shopping” for 3rd-year students of the educational program "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages." The class took place in a language laboratory, where listening exercises aimed at developing Listening skills were used.
During the lesson, interactive teaching methods such as group work and role-playing games were employed. This method involves modeling different situations directly in class. In English teaching, this approach is used for mastering new material and reinforcing what has been learned, developing students' creative abilities, and encouraging them to speak more freely. By creating completely ordinary life situations, students immerse themselves in a language environment. In this way, they apply all their knowledge in practice and begin to think and speak in a foreign language more fluently, without language barriers.
