The poet misses a sore heart

Syrdarіya University in Turkestan region hosted a literary and musical evening dedicated to the birthday of the Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev.
Literary and musical evening organized by students of the program of training teachers of the Kazakh language and literature at the Department of "Philology", Faculty of "Humanities and Law" of the University. It started with a video about his work. Students showed great skill in the performance of the poet's poems. Students sang "Think of me", "It's a secret to tell you", "Remember me". Arailym Ashirali and Aruzhan Onaltay recited their poems dedicated to the poet. The students' performances "Voice of Orphans" and "Mukagali's Birthday" also gave a clear meaning to the audience's attitude to the world of poetry.
- The main purpose of this event is to review the life and work of Mukagali Makatayev. To show the essence of the popularity of the poet's poetry and the secret of its vitality, to instill in the hearts of students the poetic talent, thereby forming in them a strong love for the world of poetry, the art of speech in general. The bright thoughts of the original poet, the sadness of the soul, the joyous mystery are especially gifted and nostalgic. The immortal verses were in harmony, the audience bowed to the spirit of Mukagali and became intimate with him through his moving poems, - says Muratbek Anarbayevich, Doctor of Philosophy.
