A festive event dedicated to March 1 – Gratitude Day – was held at the Zh. Tashenov University. This day has a special meaning for the people of Kazakhstan, as it symbolizes harmony, mutual respect and tribute to the memory of our history.
Gratitude Day – a manifestation of kindness and mercy
This holiday reflects the sincere gratitude of the multinational people of Kazakhstan to each other and strengthens unity and harmony in society. At the initiative of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, it has been celebrated since 2016, reminding us of the importance of historical memory and the achievements that we have achieved thanks to the cohesion of our ancestors.
A festive event within the walls of the university
During the ceremonial meeting organized at the Zh. Tashenov University, students and teachers expressed words of gratitude and appreciation to each other.
The event was organized by the Department of Preschool Education and Psychology, paying special attention to popularizing Gratitude Day and strengthening unity and harmony among young people.
Vice-Rector of the University Galymzhan Shamshidinuly Bitursyn emphasized the importance of the holiday:
"Gratitude Day is a tribute to history, common values and a manifestation of support for each other. Today we remember that thanks to the kindness and hospitality of our ancestors, we live under a single shanyrak. Kazakhstan is a country of peace and harmony, and we must preserve this unity for future generations. This holiday unites hearts, filling them with gratitude and kindness. We must not forget to express gratitude to our parents, teachers, loved ones. Gratitude is not just words, but a symbol of respect and unity. I am sure that today's event will give everyone warmth in their souls and contribute to strengthening our society," he noted.
Mutual gratitude is the key to the country's future
During the event, students presented creative performances, theatrical scenes based on national traditions, as well as musical numbers.
Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Natural Sciences Amangeldy Altybayuly Mamyt also gave a congratulatory speech:
"We not only provide education, but also try to instill moral and spiritual values in students. Gratitude Day is a vivid manifestation of these values. Expressing gratitude is not just politeness, but the wealth of the soul. Gratitude is the basis of peace and harmony. By showing respect and appreciation to teachers, parents, friends and people around us, we strengthen the atmosphere of trust and warmth in society," he noted.
A holiday that brought warmth to hearts
Gratitude Day is not only a tribute to common history, but also a symbol of a confident look into the future. The event held within the walls of the university reminded students and teachers of the importance of kindness and gratitude.
This holiday emphasizes the importance of mutual respect, compassion and unity in our country. For the multinational people of Kazakhstan, it is a reminder of a common historical destiny, when in difficult times the Kazakh people sheltered internally displaced persons of different nationalities, sharing with them the last and providing support.
From an ideological point of view, Gratitude Day not only expresses the gratitude of various ethnic groups to the Kazakh people, but also emphasizes that harmony and cohesion are important values of Kazakhstani society. Today, representatives of all ethnic groups continue this tradition, contributing to the strengthening of national unity.
Gratitude Day is a common holiday for all peoples for whom Kazakhstan has become their homeland. This day is aimed at strengthening friendship, maintaining peace and unity based on mutual respect and trust.
