"Dunyo" IA correspondent reports that the center of Uzbek language and culture was opened at the Zumabek Tashenov University in Shimkent, Kazakhstan.
This center was established on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation concluded between Jumabek Tashenov University and Andijan State Pedagogical Institute.
It should be noted that bachelor's and master's degrees are being trained at this university based on the "Teachers of Uzbek language and literature" program.
As part of the international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the university, the opening ceremony of the Uzbek language and culture center was held.
A delegation of representatives of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan headed by the rector of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute Bakhtiyor Rasulov took part in it.
The Kazakh side expressed gratitude to the leadership and professors of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, who made a worthy contribution to the establishment of the Uzbek Language and Culture Center.
Those who spoke at the event noted that the opening of this center will enrich the relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the fields of education and culture, which have reached a qualitatively new level, with practical content.
As noted, the center allows for the wide promotion of the national culture, literature and customs of Uzbekistan.
We remind you that the Uzbek language center was recently opened at Oxford University, one of the oldest educational and research institutions in the world. The center will accept the first students from January 2024.
