Tribute to a national figure

110 years since the birth of the statesman and public figure Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev. On this occasion, his contemporaries, representatives of the intelligentsia and the people of the South laid wreaths at the monument to Zhumabek Akhmetuly.
Tashenev did a great job in preserving the unity of the Kazakh land. He was not limited only to the land issue, but also made a great contribution to the development of culture and literature. He took care of literary figures and supported Kazakh youth in the path of education and science.
At the same time, he was a person who held high state positions in his time and defended the interests of his country.
