Today, mixed learning is one of the modern educational processes that allows you to effectively take advantage of full-time and distance learning.

President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev noted the need to pay attention to distance education. We talked to the head of the Educational and Methodological Department, senior lecturer Zauresh Mekenbayevna to get acquainted with the life of the University "Syrdarіya", which is working in this direction.
- In the age of digital technologies, the transition of universities to distance learning is a modern requirement. What measures are being taken in this area?
- In order to ensure the quality of education during the restrictive measures of this academic year, our university continued to work remotely and in a mixed format. The content of education, forms and methods of teaching at Syrdarіya University in the format of distance learning and control over the knowledge and skills of students are organized in accordance with the requirements of educational programs over time.
In addition, the library of the university is equipped with all the necessary educational and methodical literature for distance learning and currently has 349,062 units. All scanned new textbooks and books are included in the catalog of electronic resources of the university and can be actively used by students and teachers in the context of CBT.

- Due to the restrictive measures of the quarantine period, the University "Syrdarya" for several weeks continues to work in a new educational-mixed format. The transition to a mixed learning system has allowed to change the pace of learning in the learning process. Today, mixed learning is one of the modern educational processes that allows you to effectively take advantage of full-time and distance learning.
The teaching staff of the university responsibly conducts classes online and offline. The diversity of educational information and tasks offered by professors, the multi-level content allows to implement the principle of variability of the educational process.
- Distance learning technology allows students to continue their education at a distance without coming to the university. What learning platforms do you use to realize that opportunity?
- You are right, the technology of distance learning at the University "Syrdarіya" allows students to continue their studies from afar, without coming to the university. However, if we say that the student is the main link in distance education, it is necessary to take into account the psychological factors of learning away from such an auditorium. Since 2012, the educational process has been transferred to the automated information system "Platonus" for credit system.
The faculty and students implement the distance learning system through Platonus, Zoom, Webex Meetings and WhatsApp messenger platforms. Professors filled the content on the freely available platform "Platonus" and prepared audio and video lectures on the developed algorithm of distance learning.
