An important task is inclusive education

The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has identified the development of inclusive education as one of the important tasks in the "State Program for the Development of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020". On this basis, the Center for Psychological Assistance and Inclusive Support held a scientific-practical seminar on "Inclusive education in the context of distance learning" at the University "Syrdarya".
The purpose of the seminar is to prepare and implement inclusive approaches as a means of providing quality education for children with special psychological needs.
At the Center for Psychological Assistance and Inclusive Support, we often meet with trainings, discussions, people in need of psychological assistance, students with special psychological needs.
The seminar was chaired by the Dean of Philology and Humanities, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Meirbekov MB, Head of the Department of Education, Ph.D. Oralova ZM, director of the library Raeeva G. and the teaching staff of the Department of "Pedagogy and Psychology" in their reports were able to provide a comprehensive overview of inclusive education in the context of distance learning.
The expected result is the creation of an adaptive psychological educational environment for students with special psychological needs in the mass environment to provide affordable quality education and to provide the main directions of social and psychological support of students' psychological processes in society. Provision of forms of education also allows to establish partnerships between state and public organizations, to ensure coordination and integration of activities.
Our center is designed to provide education for students with special psychological needs in the context of inclusive psychological support. Inclusive psychological support is a form of organization of the educational process in which students with special psychological needs can study in a group with their peers in the context of psychological education. This form of organization of the educational process is more important than individual learning.
When creating inclusive groups, children with developmental disabilities should be included in one group, if possible, according to the recommendations given in the same educational program.
The period of adaptation of students with special psychological needs to study at our university takes place in the classroom of inclusive psychological support, equipped with extracurricular activities in the educational institution and abroad.
This year our university intends to participate in city competitions with the program of inclusive education.
They:
- obtaining the status of an experimental site;
- cooperation with various scientific and public organizations, other psychological partners;
- integration of students with special psychological needs in all areas of university activities, thereby increasing the competitiveness of the city;
- Formation of psychological attitude of children with normal development to students with special psychological needs;
- Ensuring the process of forming the psychological attitude of society to students with special psychological needs.
In the implementation of the model of inclusive psychological support, we need to address the organization of training that can meet the needs and requirements of students with special psychological needs. It is very important for us that students with special psychological needs find their place in society, adapt and become full citizens of society. By systematizing and sharing existing experience, we have come to the conclusion that if this category of students were trained in general education groups and additional conditions were created, their learning and socialization success would increase. This prompted us to create a program of the Center for Psychological Assistance and Inclusive Support and open inclusive groups.
The University of Syrdarіya pays special attention to the central plan to attract students with special psychological needs to enter higher education and explain to them the need for higher education. And one of the main goals of our university is to increase the efficiency of the center and to educate students.
We want to say that students with special psychological needs can find their place in life, realize their talents and contribute to the rapid development of our country as highly qualified professionals.
