YOUTH

The implementation of educational work is aimed at preparing developed personalities, both from a professional point of view and from a moral point of view, intellectually developed with a creative approach to professional activities. The main idea of educational work at the University is the training of educated and intelligent specialists.
Educational work at the university is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law "On State Youth Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the Law "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan", the annual Message of the President K. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, the State Program for the Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Program of Struggle with corruption.

Main goals:
- implementation of the Policy and Goals of the University named after Zh.A. Tashenev in the field of quality;
- fulfillment of obligations in the field of quality and requirements of the quality management system;
- control over the work of the Council of Curators of the University;
- education of student youth, purposeful systematic formation of personality in order to prepare for active participation in the social, industrial and cultural life of the republic, to change the approaches, principles and nature of educational work.
 
Main functions and goals:
- the formation of an intellectual nation, whose representatives not only have competitive knowledge, creative thinking, but also high civil and moral principles, a sense of patriotism and social responsibility;
- development of versatile interests and abilities of students;
- propaganda of the state policy and state programs of the Republic of Kazakhstan among the teaching staff and students;
- education of the personality of teaching staff and students in the spirit of Kazakhstani patriotism;
- prevention of offenses among students;
- promotion of a healthy lifestyle and prevention of drug addiction among students;
- organization, management and monitoring of all activities carried out according to the plan of educational work of the university;
- coordination, control, analysis of the work of curators in academic groups;
- coordination and direction of student activity, active assistance in the implementation of student initiatives;
- cooperation with universities of the republic and the region on the problems of educating student youth;
- cooperation with youth non-governmental organizations in the implementation of youth policy;
- cooperation with the department of internal policy and with youth centers for youth affairs of the republic, region and city.
- cooperation with the republican and regional mass media;
- consultation of socially vulnerable students on state programs, as well as the proposed assistance of the university.
 
The department for educational work operates in the following 10 areas:

10. Development of student self-government and youth initiatives.
