Discussion platform dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the birth of Abu Nasir al-Farabi "Promotion of the heritage of the Farabian scientist Akzhan al-Mashani".

On November 26, 2020, the Department of Domestic and Foreign History of the Syrdariya University organized an online discussion platform dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the birth of Abu Nasir al-Farabi.

The purpose of the event: the 1150th anniversary of the great scientist Abu Nasir al-Farabi will be celebrated not only in our country, but also at the UNESCO level. And from year to year, the issue of including the scientific heritage of al-Farabi in textbooks, the educational process, teaching and upbringing of schoolchildren on the example of a great ancestor becomes more and more urgent.

For the first time in the entire Muslim East, the idea of ​​teaching the legacy of al-Farabi to the younger generation was put forward by an outstanding scientist, Professor Akzhan al-Mashani (Mashanov).

Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Meyrbekov M.B. congratulated Abu Nasir al-Farabi on the 1150th anniversary and presented the purpose and plan of the event.

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor A.I. Kudaibergenova spoke with reflections on the topic "Akzhan Al Mashani - a scientist combining religion and science".

Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor M.B. Meirbekov raised some issues, linking the public views of Abu Nasir al-Farabi with the lessons of history.

Senior teacher A.K. Turmanov shared his thoughts on Akzhan Al Mashani, who studied the legacy of Abu Nasir al-Farabi and was able to pass it on to the current generation.

During the event, the participating undergraduates and students were able to receive comprehensive answers to pressing questions.
