Brief historical information about the department
The Department of Information and Communication Technologies has been operating since the first day of the university’s foundation in 2022. The teaching staff of the department carries out educational activities in the following undergraduate educational programs 6B06101 – “Computer technology and software”, 6B06102 – “Information systems” and 6B06112 – “Informatics”.

About us

About us
The department "Natural Sciences" was organized in 2009. It trains qualified specialists working in the field of education, science, culture and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Our main task is the formation of innovative activities of future teachers of chemistry and biology.

About the faculty

In 2022, the University of Syrdarya moved from Zhetysai to Shymkent, and after the reorganization into the Zh.A. Tashenev University, the Faculty of “IT, Economics and Law” was established. The faculty was headed by Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Besbaev G. A. and Master's degree Orazov B. D. In 2024, the faculty was renamed the Faculty of “Economics and Law”. Since March 2024 the dean of the faculty has been led by Candidate of Economics A. E. Nauryzbekova.

Department Mission: To provide high-quality education for future professionals within the field of foreign language education, meeting the demands of society and the labor market.
Quality Policy and Goals: The department is committed to fostering universal and professional competencies in students by actively employing innovative technologies and teaching methods aligned with current educational trends.

About us

Department of "History and Geography" is one of the first departments in our university. It trains specialists in educational programs: "History", "Geography", "Geography-History". Our graduates become competent historians and geographers who are in demand in the field of education.

About us
The Department of Foreign Languages was founded in September 1998. We provide training for teachers of English and French, as well as teachers of the Russian language and literature. Since September 2018, the department has been preparing masters for the educational program "Training of teachers of two foreign languages".

The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology trains specialists in the following educational programs:
