A meeting was held in our university within the framework of the social project "Learning from History" of the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of the city of Shymkent. It was attended by young students with degrees in history and geography, philology, physical education and sports.
In the course of the social project, a number of history teachers have visited and lectured in several higher educational institutions and colleges. At the gatherings, on the occasion of the 355th anniversary of Kazybek Bi, 220th anniversary of Dulat Babatayuly, as well as the 110th anniversaries of state and public figures Dinmuhamed Konaev, and the 100th anniversary of Aasanbay Askarov, there was a discussion about the lives of the citizens, their work, and the immeasurable work they left for the younger generation.
The organizers of the project are celebrating the people and leaders who have played a role in the development of our nation, and in order to convey them to the younger generation and to revive them in the minds of Zh. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Ahmet Baitursynov, he gave a lecture to the students of Tashenev University about the life of the educator. Elmira Myrzaliyeva, associate professor of OKMPU, candidate of historical sciences, told about the bravery of the public figure in the way of literacy of Kazakh children, his life and difficulties in the path of education within the theme of "Teacher of the Nation Ahmet Baitursynuly". It was also mentioned that he had put his head in the race and made a contribution to the nation, and that he had brought the textbook "Alyppe" for the first time. The students of our university were also active on the topic and exchanged opinions during the impressive meeting.
