Guest speaker: theater is my life

The next Guest speaker event was organized by SU Students ’Union. This time the speaker is the director of the Zhetysai Drama Theater named after K. Zhandarbekov, laureate of international theater festivals Tlegen Akhmetov.

The interview between the students and the director was very interesting. Tlegen Akhmetov told young people about his first steps in cinema and his first film, the success of documentaries such as "Kairan Shamshi". The students also listened with interest to the difficulties and interesting stories of the director during the filming.

I think this meeting is a very special event for our university. We have been looking forward to the arrival of the director for several days in a row. This interview will be remembered by students forever. This is because watching movies is different, and the effect of asking a direct question to the director is completely different, - said the students participating in the meeting.

After the master class, the students took a photo with the famous director and got his autograph. The director himself presented the performances that will soon be presented at the Zhetysai Drama Theater.
