At the initiative of the Department of Religious Affairs of the city of Shymkent and the organization of the Department of Youth Policy at Tashenev University, a meeting was held with students on the topic “Non-extremism, notariat.”
The event, held in the assembly hall of Tashenev University, was conducted by religious scholar Dalelkhan Ospanov. Dalelkhan Konyrbayuly warned students to be careful with modern religious videos.
The religious scholar said that today in the country there are widespread preachers who confuse the traditional movement and books of this direction, and advised young people to stay away from unsubstantiated videos and not to distribute them.
He warned that if such slogans were disseminated, he would be punished under the laws of the Criminal Code. He said that the list of preachers approved by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan can be viewed on the website muftyat.kz, and only then the information will be more reliable.
