Strengthening international cooperation

COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE BETWEEN BROTHER COUNTRIES, PARTNER UNIVERSITIES IS STRENGTHENING

At the summit of the leaders of the Organization of Turkic States held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev strengthened the cooperation of the Turkic states in the field of education and science, developed academic mobility, and created conditions for intercultural dialogue among students; In 2023, he proposed to consider the possibility of creating a common network of universities of Turkic countries, forming a unified educational space of higher educational institutions. This initiative opens the way for our students to learn the Turkish language and get acquainted with the life of the brotherly countries.

Today, we can proudly say that among higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, Zhumabek Akhmetuliy Tashenev University offers bachelor's and master's degrees based on the "Training of teachers of Uzbek language and literature" program. In this regard, on the basis of the bilateral cooperation memorandum signed between Zhumabek Akhmetuliy Tashenev University and Alisher Nauai Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, in the fall semester of this year, 2nd year bachelor students of Tashenev University are exchanging experience and improving their knowledge under the academic mobility program. for the next academic year, it is planned to implement a joint educational program for the master's degree program "Training of Uzbek language and literature teachers" according to the double diploma educational program.
One of the priority areas of integration of Kazakhstani higher education into the international educational space is undoubtedly double diploma education. That is why, on January 5, 2024, during a business trip, the head of the Academic Mobility Department Shahlo Naraliyeva held talks with the university rector, doctor of philological sciences, professor, academician Shuhrat Samariddinovich Sirozhiddinov and Vice-Rector for International Relations Nozliya Zarilovna Normurodova on the prospects of implementing a double degree education program. A number of plans were discussed and steps were clarified. In the future, the subjects of the Uzbek partner universities will be coordinated with the subjects of the Kazakh standard of education, and graduate students of the two universities will be given the opportunity to obtain 2 diplomas.

During the meeting, the conversation continued on another very important issue. Colleague head of the university not only skillfully manages the team, the educational institution, but also works tirelessly in the development of science. The book "Amir Alisher", published in 2023 by Shuhrat Samariddinovich, which provides a definitive answer to the disputes that have been going on for centuries, about the biography of the poet-writer, thinker, scholar Alisher Navai, the pride of the Turkic people, has already been translated into several Turkic languages. It is clear that if Kazakh students are also aware of this spiritual treasure in their native language, it will be more enlightening. In that context, opinions were exchanged and plans were clarified.

Within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the university named after Zhumabek Akhmetuliy Tashenev, it is aimed at the scientific, cultural and spiritual rapprochement of brotherly countries, cooperation of the Uzbek-Kazakh peoples, international experience, mastering progressive knowledge of the leading teachers of partner universities, developing cooperation with the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Nauai. There is no doubt that both sides will gain a lot from the events.
