The teaching of the history of the Motherland was discussed

Recently, a round table was held in our university under the organization of the "History and Geography" department entitled "Some current methodological and methodological issues of teaching the history of the homeland". Professors of the department and students of "history" specialty took part in it. The educational event was conducted by Myrzabay Meyirbekov, associate professor of the department, candidate of historical sciences.
Some actual issues of teaching the history of Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the consequences and consequences of yesterday's Eurocentric, Russian-centric and narrow-class attitudes in the writing and teaching of the history of the Motherland, Kazakh civilization and its place in the world civilization were mentioned. Apart from that, the question of the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people, the place of the Saks, the similarities and continuities in the ethno-political and ethno-cultural development of the ancient Saks and later Kazakhs, their writing and teaching in our modern history, Kazakh statehood and its development stages were also discussed. Also, the historical significance of the Kazakh-Dzungar wars and some of its "whitewashes", as well as some "whitewashes" of the national liberation struggles for the country's independence, and some gaps in the writing and teaching of these issues became a hot topic of discussion.
This event expanded the cognitive horizon of the participants, gave spiritual pleasure, and taught young people to learn from history.
