Learning from independence

On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, published an article entitled "Lessons of Independence" to share ideas with my native people. The Horde traces the centuries-old history of "independent Kazakhstan, which has just reached the age of puberty" and describes what great milestones it has conquered.
Such self-sacrifice can be achieved only by a strong and united people: Kazakhs have preserved the homeland of the Turkic people in times of great wars and battles.
In addition, the article tells about the hardships, sacrifices and trials of the people of the country, which the youth of our country should know about the path to independence:
- The First World War, the royal decree of June 1916, the tyranny and cruelty of the colonial government;
- The subsequent Civil War, which engulfed the Kazakh steppes in blood;
- Two waves of famine - the Soviet policy of 1921-1922 and 1930-1932;
- Stalinist bloody repression in the late thirties devoured the cream of our nation;
- The Second World War, which entered the history of mankind as the bloodiest massacre - the Great Patriotic War, its fierce days;
- the consequences of mass resettlement in the years of virgin development.
This is necessary in order to respect and learn from the past. "What kind of tolerant people are Kazakhs ?! He got used to it and endured it impatiently. Even when the future was bleak, he did not give up hope. He resisted the challenge and moved forward. "That is why it is said that "independence is a sacred value that comes from the blood of our ancestors".
"Although we achieved independence peacefully, our ancestors shed a lot of blood on the way to it," he said. Independence is the redemption of that sacred blood.
“Our wise ancestors managed to preserve not only themselves, but also their honesty, wisdom, pure language, beautiful songs and mood, as well as the culture of conversation and rich literature. It is necessary to appreciate that being a son and a daughter of such a country, which has its roots, history and strength in the Great Steppe, and where many ethnic groups live together in peace and harmony, is an infinite happiness written on the forehead of every Kazakhstani.
 Yes, like happiness, Independence is in the hands of a valued society.
Kassym-Zhomart Kemelovich Tokayev, a highly qualified professional, said that the main wealth of an independent country is a person. He worked tirelessly for independence for many thirty years. He was able to say it openly.
For our part, Nursultan Nazarbayev said: “Independence must be eternal. In the future, every Kazakhstani must strengthen his position, stand up and serve to enhance his reputation! This is the ultimate goal of the idea of "Eternal Country". The main thing is that our country is safe and our generation is free. The free generation that we raised in the palm of our hand is now "What can I give to Kazakhstan?" We need to think about it, ”he said.
