On April 16, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., Bakyt Alisherkyzy Ayapova, Lecturer of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education at the Institute of Pedagogical and Natural Sciences of Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University, conducted an open practical lesson for the PIK 23-6k study group in the course “Methodology of Music Education for Preschool Children” on the topic “Conducting Musical Games Using Musical Instruments.”

During the lesson, effective ways of using musical instruments to develop preschool children's musical abilities were demonstrated, and methodological approaches to organizing musical games were discussed. Students completed practical tasks using simple musical instruments such as rattles, drums, bells, maracas, and triangles aimed at developing children's auditory perception, sense of rhythm, and creative activity.

Special attention was paid to developing future preschool teachers’ skills in organizing musical and creative activities. Students analyzed different types of musical games and learned how to plan and conduct them according to children's age characteristics. Group work, practical tasks, discussions, and creative exercises were effectively incorporated into the lesson.

The objectives and tasks of the open practical lesson were fully achieved, and the class was conducted at a high professional level. The lesson structure complied with the requirements of the educational program, and its objectives and expected learning outcomes were clearly defined. Presentation materials were provided, and methods of conducting musical games were demonstrated in practice.

The open lesson was attended by the Head of the Department, G.O. Amirova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and A. Mirzakulova, Master of Pedagogical Sciences and Senior Lecturer.

The Head of the Department, G.O. Amirova, provided a positive evaluation of the open lesson entitled “Conducting Musical Games Using Musical Instruments.” She noted that the lesson objectives and tasks were clearly defined and that the educational content was systematically organized in accordance with the course requirements. The lecturer successfully integrated theoretical knowledge with practical activities, contributing to the enhancement of students’ knowledge in the methodology of music education for preschool children.

Active teaching methods, group work, musical tasks, and practical exercises were effectively used throughout the lesson, increasing students’ engagement and participation in the learning process. The lecturer maintained continuous feedback with students and created a positive psychological atmosphere that encouraged the development of their creative abilities.

The open lesson was aimed at developing the musical-methodological competencies of future preschool educators and fostering their skills in effectively organizing musical activities for children.
