Where to begin

Check-in at the hostel for 1st year bachelors will be carried out from August 27 to August 31, 2021.

When checking into a hostel, you must have the following documents:

  • identity document;
  • a copy of the identity card;
  • medical certificate on the absence of contraindications for living in a hostel (form 086y);
  • certificate of vaccinations;
  • health insurance policy.

At the time of arrival for training, a place will already be assigned to you in one of the university dormitories.

When checking into a hostel, you must have the following documents:

  • a copy of the passport with registration on one sheet;
  • medical certificate on the absence of contraindications for living in a hostel (form 086y);
  • certificate of vaccinations;
  • health insurance policy.

Student cards will be issued at the study office on weekdays from 11:00 to 17:00 during the first week of the school year.

Student cards are issued as enrollment orders are issued and personal files are received by the study office. If you did not submit a photo when submitting documents to the admissions office, then bring your 3x4 photo to the study office from 24 to 29 August.

Starting in September, all important information will be sent to student email. You will receive your login details by email along with your student card.

The university provides each student with a free corporate email address during their studies at the university. This address is used to send official information to students from university staff. Other addresses (personal addresses of students, group addresses of study groups, etc.) are not official sources of information about the educational process.

You can obtain your corporate email address from the academic office of your faculty. The password is formed on the basis of additional characters Edu at the beginning and numbers from the student ID number. By default, it is considered that if any informational letter was sent to student mail, the information has been delivered. For example, information about schedule changes, scholarships, urgent notifications, and so on. You can also set up forwarding of incoming messages to your personal email.

You need to activate your corporate mail before September 5.

The university does not use paper records. You can find a list of your disciplines, and in the future - grades for them, in Platonus, http://platonus.tashenev.kz/, an electronic environment for students and teachers. To enter the LMS, a student needs to know his / her personal login and password, which are issued by the staff of the registration office.

To view the schedule, you can use the Platonus platform mobile application, https://platon.sirdariya.kz/ The class schedule is also available on the university website.
