April 12 - on the occasion of the Day of Science Workers, a two-day republican scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students "Youth and Science - 2023" was held at Tashenev University. Active students of Tashenev University took part in this conference, which was organized to support students interested in science. The participants defended their scientific projects and presented scientific papers on various topics.
- At the conference, I defended my scientific article. In my work, written under the title "Ecosystems of Kazakhstan and its conservation", I proposed ways to deal with currently endangered animals, ways to protect nature, as well as environmentally harmful waste. Highly qualified professors teach at our university. Using this opportunity, with the support of professors-teachers, we write projects on various topics and defend them. In general, such scientifically based events and olympiads are often held. This improves our knowledge,” says Saltanat Kozhan, a 3rd year student at Tashenev University.
The second day of the conference continued with creative ideas. At the festival "Creative Ideas", where the works of students and teachers of Tashenev University are presented, the participants showed a defile of national collections and clothes for evening gatherings, clothes in ethnic style for children. Winners of international competitions of the university and talented students presented their art. At this, the two-day conference ended with the awarding of the winners.
- 130 students presented their project at a conference held at our university. Students came from the cities of Almaty, Astana, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Semey, Turkestan and defended their scientific articles, abstracts, research. As part of the holiday of scientists, we awarded the teaching staff, contributing to the upbringing and education of students. In general, the educational institution has about 300 teachers, 98 percent of whom are engaged in science. In the future, we aim to hold the conference in the traditional format, - says Sholpan Arzymbetova, Vice-Rector for Research at Tashenev University.
The vice-rector also noted that in the future it is planned to create several schools dealing with science in the strategic directions of the educational institution. There, students who have embarked on the path of science will look deeper into their chosen field and receive new opportunities.
It should be noted that April 12 is the birthday of the first president of the Academy of Sciences, an outstanding scientist, geologist Kanysh Satbaev. This day turns into a professional holiday of scientists.
