THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE REPORT WAS HEARD

The Academic Council is one of the most important meetings where the work done and plans for the future of Zh. Tashenev University are discussed. The Academic Council consists of the university management, heads of departments and young people. The most striking event of this regular meeting was that the members of the council met for the first time in a new building - the Marhabat Baygut Student Center.
The meeting reviewed the level of provision of the library fund with educational and scientific literature on the subjects of educational programs, the report on the work of the Admissions Committee for the 2024-2025 academic year, the implementation of the career guidance plan for the subjects of educational programs. Reports were heard and discussions were held on the general mechanism for assessing the academic, research and social competencies of students, the results of the faculty rating and the introduction of the Integral GPA for the 2024-2025 academic year. According to the results of the current year, the University Admissions Committee accepted 1281 applicants, of which 845 were accepted for the full-time department, 207 for full-time education, 229 for full-time accelerated education, and 71 applicants were accepted conditionally and achieved a high indicator. Among them, 50 students with the best certificate, 20 Altyn Belgi, 14 students with achievements in international and national Olympiads, 4 winners of the Elbasy medal. In the near future, it is planned to increase the intensity of work with the youth of the district and the city.
