A memorandum was signed between the Zhumabek Tashenov University in Shymkent and the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute in Uzbekistan, and the Uzbek language and culture center was opened at the Zh. Tashenov Higher Education Institution. This event was started after the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Samarkand this year, that it is necessary to strengthen the humanitarian and cultural ties that bring the Turkic-speaking countries closer together.
During the signing of the memorandum, Kanat Baibolov, rector of Zh. Tashenov University, informed that the center is being opened based on the above order of the President.
- The Uzbek language and culture center at Zh. Tashenov University is the first center opened among higher educational institutions. At the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that in order to bring the Turkic countries closer to each other, open cultural centers, create joint educational programs, exchange students within the framework of academic mobility, and carry out scientific work together. In order to implement this task of the President, Zh.Tashenov University was the first to take up the idea of opening a center. In this higher educational institution, the language and culture of the Turkic countries are taught at the bachelor's and master's level of education. In general, universities have three levels of education, and the only higher educational institution that trains future teachers in Uzbek at two levels is Zh. Tashenov University. The principle and strategic orientation of the educational institution is the idea of "learn everything about another language, respect your own," said Kanat Baibolov.
Rector of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute Bakhtier Rasulov said that Kazakh and Uzbeks have one language, one religion, one grave and one market, and they are related people that cannot be separated like flesh and nails. At the same time, two fraternal nations that have lived together for many centuries have become independent countries and are proud of the fact that they are truly brotherly states that support and encourage each other on the stage of international politics. As a bright example of this, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Merziyoyev at the meeting of the Organization of Turkic States held in Samarkand showed the cultural, cultural and humanitarian relations of the Turkic peoples. He put forward new ideas and suggestions related to the return. On the basis of that, Zh. Tashenov announced the opening of the Uzbek language and culture center at the university and thanked the leaders of the country and the rectorate of the university, who spearheaded the implementation of this idea. Taking advantage of this situation, the brotherly countries emphasized the need to strengthen scientific and cultural ties. Apart from that, Uzbekistan also reported that in the following years it focused on the development of modern science and education, turned to innovation. In this way, both countries were called not to be separated from each other, but to achieve the goals put forward in the field of science together. In turn, Andijan mentioned that in the future work will be done to open a similar center of the Kazakh language and culture at the State Pedagogical Institute.
The presentation of the Uzbek language and culture center at the higher educational institution coincided with the 25th anniversary of the university. On the occasion of this important holiday, a solemn event was organized at the university. There was an exhibition of things made by students of higher educational institutions in Shymkent. It includes products carved from wood and bone, ancient Kazakh household items and clothes made by leather processing, handicrafts such as origami, appliqué, quilling, which create wonderful things from simple paper, jewelry forged from various metals, various textiles, and masters of brush art. beautiful paintings and portraits were displayed. At the same time, students organized an exhibition of fashionable clothes from the new collection, which revived Kazakh national clothes in modern style with their own hands. In addition, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the university and the opening of the cultural center, a scientific-practical conference aimed at strengthening the relations of the two brotherly countries in the scientific, humanitarian and spiritual spheres was held.
- Rectors of universities of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, scientists of higher educational institutions of the country were invited to the scientific conference. At the meeting, issues of education development, exchange of students in the framework of academic mobility, and other issues of higher education were discussed. There are also centers of Kazakh language and culture in Uzbekistan. Kazakh children study in a Kazakh school in the Shyrchyk region of the neighboring country. School graduates can be sent to Kazakhstan on academic mobility to teach Kazakh at a higher educational institution, or our teachers can go to Uzbekistan to teach. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the university began in September. Since then, many events have been organized. Students of higher educational institutions of crafts, singing and dancing held a competition among themselves.
