Academic Policy Forum

Today the Forum on academic policy in the field of higher education was held with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The forum was attended by vice-rectors, deans, heads of departments, heads of the educational and methodological department and the office of the university registrar. The agenda of the forum includes the academic policy of higher education, academic honesty, accreditation of universities, training of qualified personnel in accordance with market requirements, internships for professors and undergraduates, doctoral students abroad, internships at pedagogical and industrial bases, attention to the quality of educational programs, development of curricula , the issues of integrating research with training were discussed. The minister also noted that there are many changes in academic issues and it is necessary to continue fruitful work in this direction.
